“Hi, I'm unavaliable at the moment. Leave a message and I'll be sure to call you back.”

“Hi honey, it's me... I hadn't intended to stay out for so long, I'm sorry... But when I was there, the moon was full... It gave the earth this dream-like haze...That soft glowing light. You know I love that...And it was really the only reason I stayed out there for so long. It was a coincidence she stopped by. I hadn't seen her in over five years. So we talked. I forgot the time...I know I wronged you darling, I'm very sorry... We didn't do what you think we did, sweety. Please pick up the phone, I know you're there... Forgive me for what I did. I never meant to hurt you... Do you remember that time when we danced? Just you, me and the radio? I don't even know the song anymore, but, ah... your eyes, darling, those soft brown eyes. They stay with me, they keep me in their unending gaze at night... Do you still remember what I said? The words slipped from my mind the moment they became airborne. I was too completely enthralled with the way we danced, the smell in the air. I cherish them... It was cinnamon, from the scented candles you loved so much...You still love them...Please, can we talk? Can I meet you somewhere? It's been so long... I left you standing on the doorstep. You looked so small, you know, so fragile. I fell in love with you all over again...I should have told you...I know you're listening darling. Tell me if there is anything...Anything I can do...Anything I can say... But perhaps the silence is clear enough. I just wanted you to know how sorry I am...Now you know. I'll hang up now...Bye...Goodbye love...You know where you can reach me...Goodbye...If I don't talk to you again, have a good life...Bye.”
